About InfoNorway

InfoNorway started in 1996 as a collection of links to web pages with English language information about Norway. It's purpose was then, as it is today, to help foreigners interested in Norway to find relevant information quickly by sorting and organizing the available information, filtering out trash and highlighting quality pages.

When InfoNorway started, it had a handful of visitors every day. Today it has about a thousand unique visitors daily and a million page views every year, which makes it one of the most frequently visited web sites for people looking for English language information about Norway.

Back in 1996 there were less than hundred Norway related sites on the web. Today there are thousands. As a consequence, InfoNorway has grown, the links have been grouped together to ease browsing, and a search function has been added to find information quickly.
